I have a couple of canvas backpacks and one has been fairly heavily used and is now looking the worse for wear. My first thought was to throw it out and use the newer one but that would be a bit of a waste, so I had some stitching changed and reckon that a nice clean-up would help it a lot more.
There is a bit of a whiff about it, with carrying some trout and there are the usual blemishes and cloth stains like grass, muck and a couple of blood patches.
The bag is canvas with leather straps, etc and has brass fittings.
Does anyone know a good way to refresh the canvas?
