Canoe & Bushcraft at Medieval Wadenhoe.

Hey folks,

On Sunday me & my buddy Matt went to Wadenhoe on the River Nene to embark on a journey we did exactly one year ago to the day. We took the canoe and some kit, including a tarp & a Polish army lavvu, for a paddle and a day in the woods.

We set up a day camp, made a cooking area, cooked a nice meal, tested out the Gamekeeper PR5 catapult and more! Good times

Right in my back yard, I paddle this stretch too. Downstream to Wansford is also a great paddle with a nice flowing backwater near Nassington.

I love that backwater near Nassington, it has a nice little step down in the river half way down if I remember rightly, good fun!
