Camp Stool ! Solution to that sinking feeling sought.......

I am a large gentleman and put the legs of my tripod stool into used sweetcorn tins (bit bigger than bean tins). Did use 3 different tins which fitted inside each other but the smallest always sank in.

LeeValley and Vertas www.leevalley.com sells what they call a walking stool. It is a 3 legged stool like you describe. They sell an accessory for it that is 3 webbing straps held together by a triangle ring. Thends have little pockets to hold the feet.
Look at the web site and maybe it can give you an idea of what you could make.
