Camp Axe/Hatchet for under 40$

If anyone could recommend a camp axe or hatchet under 40$ and that has a wood handle, it would be very helpful. I'm looking at the Husqvarna Hatchet currently.I've looked at the Hultafors hatchets, but I can't find anywhere where they're available or that ship to the US.

The Husqvarna has great steel... I re-profiled mine as the grind needed a tidy up and it takes/keeps a superb edge and gets some hard use.

yep, husqvarna axes are nice! or just look on ebay.com for an old 'plumb' axe head and put a new hickory handle on it, I hear you guys can get them for about $10 aper axe head.

If you live in the USA you will be able to buy from Northern Tool, they will not ship to the UK. However I have made two of these axes using Wilkinson heads and the GB shaft, just a couple of hours work.

The current Husqvarna hatchets are made by Hultafors, so you are getting pretty much an identical product.
