Our local Tesco has some really cheap pouches for digital cameras, starting at about £2. They might be a bit basic for that posh new camera you got for christmas but they could be a cheap and useful container for a small first aid kit or all those useful bits and bobs (no more rattling tobacco tins.)
The pouches have padded sides, zip fastening and have a belt loop. Worth having a look to see what your local store has in stock.
