Appreciate folk may want to keep their favourite sites discrete , but after a bit of Google Earthing cant make my find up. Looking for a bit of quiet coast to spend 3 days meandering along with my tarp and hammock ( ie. need some trees) Any thoughts.

Big established plantations are good hammock territory. If you find islands of broadleaf you can live in the nice bit and hang from the handy trees.

Google isn't much cop round there. Try the map bit at Yell.com

It's pretty well civilised there, but hop onto an oban ferry to an island ?
North of Easdale is pretty sweet but may to exposed for you ? Could
work your way back round the Bridge over the Atlantic.

Loch Creran is scenic. Park up near Ben Sgulaird then walk over to Glencoe
by taking a few days ? Maybe too north fro you.

Yup, I liked The Slate Isles.

Do Eat at the Tigh Na Truach, just over the Bridge, they give you HUGE servings

Its £1.60 each way (no return) to Easdale, and I think the same if your on Foot to Luing.

The shellfish on Ardinmar beach, East Coast of Luing are huge!

A few plantations, but Id reccomend a Bivvy, as few trees and the grounds too hard for tent pegs.

Campings limited but remember me to the Guy in Kilbride Farm, Seil island, you can stay there.

I stayed three nights.

The main economys Lobsters, but I did not see any. (never looked, you may be able to pick one up cheap)

The highland arts centre do great ice cream, look out for the lioness skin hung from the celing. (Dont camp in their car park; £8 a night for no facilities)

Not very 'bushcrafty' but the Seafood Temple (restaurant) in Oban is excellent albeit you need to book ahead.

Loch Feochan might well be worth a look
