Hi all,
I had some fun trying to use 2 waste can for "bushcraft" wood stoves.
My first attempt was a can just punctured for better air blow and for adding woods
very good to make fire, but when you place the canteen over the top, this suffucate fire, so water was hard to boiling...
The improvement was to add 2 pieces of woods (green) on the top of the can
and you may reach the boiling temperature in a reasonable amount of time (12 minutes this time)
A modified wood stove is possible cutting and bending any sections of the top of the can
this way is far better, flames are free to develop itself and the heath is really high
you may boil the water of the canteen with a very small amount of woods, just few grams, and time was reduced at to 8 minutes.
Here you have a video
