I was wondering to myself whether there are any films which would be considered as good viewing for the community with authentic skills or events on show. I'd like to start off with one but drew a blank- ???

If you are looking for a real documentary with no Hollywood bulls**t, it doesn't get any better IMHO than the Werner Herzog documentary "Happy People..a year in the Taiga"
90 minutes of bushcraft and survival at it's most extreme, superlative film making and narration by a master of his craft.....available on You-Tube but unable to get the link to work, maybe someone else can do the honours?
