I have checked and it is OK for me to use a hobo stove, just so long as I don't light a bonfire. Given that it is very overgrown at the bottom end there is plenty of material for natural cordage. There is some kind of ornamental tree growing, that looks like it needs taming, it looks like it can be coppiced, I can grow my own walking stick and use the rest for bean poles, basket weaving, whatever. Only signs of wildlife so far are frogs, but I like the sandbox idea.
