Bullseye Rabbiter

A Guy asked me at the Wilderness gathering to make a copy of a small knife he really liked the shape of but wanted nicer wood etc

well it arrived in the post a few weeks ago :rolleyes:

I dont usually do pictures before it arrives but He seems keen on em
so here we are
was to be the same profile and handle shape to fit the existing Sheath but in O1 with nice wood.
Zebrano was the final choice and lucky I had a nice bit from Jean I hadent used yet.
Red liners and Scandi Grind plus some sort of Mosiac pin

Small taper on the tang looks good but mainly to remove a warp from HT :rolleyes:

that looks fantastic buddy zebra wood looks fab were did you get the mosaic pins they look great spot on that buddy nice work:cool:;)

I make all my own pins ;) these ones you cant make in length you have to make each pin if you see the before shaped scales you see its justthe tubes fitted

when i get some blue pigment powder im gonna try a RAF Roundal

would be interesting to see how you do the pins do you just fill the first tube with resin then push a smaller tube in ?
