That really is a shame. Amazing work. They remind me of some carvings I saw some years ago in the Billy Connolly's tour of Australia. Maybe it was that man? I really can't remember the name of the carver then.
Just over half of Bruno's work has been destroyed, as has his home and his workshop / gallery.
He feels the greater loss
is the rainforest that surrounded his home, his work and his sculptures.
He has already started restoring those pieces which can be saved.
