They have a stall at the Wilderness Gathering each year, nice people to deal with, I always end up buying a few bits and bobs off them.
is it difficult to make your own?
isn't it just a matter of harvesting, boiling it and then straining the pitch?

They are a bit pricey, I get beeswax for £12 a kilo and oliverbrown.co.uk do high grade potassium nitirate for 1.35 per 100g. He probably does super fine charcoal and sulphur.

wow 12£/kg.... I'm going to find out how much the stuff I got cost, I don't think it was that much
after a quick check of stuff/quick asking of the family
I've got sheets and lumps of beeswax
and according to me mum (who did the buying) they were probably a euro per sheet. the sheets are around A4 size and four sheets are are around 350g!...soo, that's about 12/kg for sheets of wax. luvverly smell to 'em too, much better than the melted-together clumpy-lumpy that I've been using (can't remember the price for that though, but I believe it was cheaper)
