@Erbswurst ... when I went to visit the town that my my partner's family came from I could see her family name in the cemetery all over the place ... seemed to go back to mediaeval times. Against that kind of pedigree, I have no chance of becoming a Bavarian.

For interest's sake, I sent the Outdoor Research Ferrosi ones back as they were too small. They didn't have a replacement size in stock. But, I think also the material is too fragile (it is good for jackets, very) and didn't have a way of adjusting the hem.
