Boxy birch scoop...

Hey all,

Was out thinning the woods last saturday and cut down a birch with a couple of nice sections for making spoons. This is the first one i finished:

This is the first spoon, or scoop if you will, i finished without the use of sandpaper. Tools used: mini hatchet, Enzo Trapper and mora spoonknive. All tools were razorsharp (bold spots on my arms tot proof it).
I know it's a very boxy design, it just happened while carving. I'm rather pleased with the result though.
