I've got a copy of The Archer's Bible by Fred Bear. Don't know if their the same book with different titles.

I've just bought the backyard bowyer and the backyard blacksmith, seems ok for a newbie like me. Will probably end up with the bowyers bible ones too. Good knowledge is worth paying the price for though IMO

I have them all and well worth the money. If you are just starting out then they can be a little "information overload" besides the first.
The others are invaluable when you want to improve design and performance. All are written by bowyers with no pretention and years of actual experience.
