Great link! I think the husband has featured in some historical films as one of the last carvers of the wooden water bottles he's holding up at the end of this.

Made my sunny Sunday watching a happy family making good things; thanks for this.

Mary - if someone said you had put up a link to a you tube film then this is the kind of thing I would have hoped for ... there is you tube films and you tube films!
A great find!
I like the way the cord is attached to her wrist not the base of the bow and the way she wets the cord to get better grip - I really must get around to making a lathe some time and this looks easier than a pole lathe ... especially if I want to build it in my low ceiling garage!
