Bootfair bargain

Morning all,I have been to a bootfair this morning and got a few bargains,but one of them I think might be a ray mears woodlore knife that got for £20.And even if it's not genuine it's still a great knife at that price.Will anybody on the forum be able tell if it's a genuine woodlore knife.

Lol it was up for £25 and I knocked him down to £20 with my best poker face.im well happy even if it's not genuine.and yes it has got a nice leather sheath aswel

It's going to become my main user,I have a woodlore clone that someone from this parish sold me.But now I have the real thing hopefully I won't be selling it.

Ok, the main question here is how the seller found himself with a Woodlore knife without knowing what the thing is worth? if you had bought one, you certainly wouldn't be selling it for £25.

I think the feeling is that it is genuine, but it obviously wasn't the seller's knife. Possibly acquired in a house clearance, or from an associate.

Bargain of the year!

Im terrible at car boots and often give people more money than they ask for if I know something is worth a lot and I want it. In fact I don't think I have ever tried to knock the price down at a boot having done a few myself years ago?

Excellent find, it's probably the real deal. I think if an indivdual personally dosn't think an item is worth anything they don't attach value to it or bother to research.

Car boot traders usually know a bit and tiresomely quote 'its worth so & so on eBay' which it usually isn't. Having said that I've bought loads of good gear at car boot sales. Enjoy your Woodie!
