The mixture was initially a bit thick and needed more liquid. This was probably because we have wholemeal flour which is more absorbant.
They are a bit more brittle than a pancake so need plenty of heat to cook, but if you make them fairly crispy they flip fine:

JoJo's veggie so we had ours with veggie chilli and grated cheese:
and pudding ones with sugar and lemon:
The verdict YUM! The only problem was we could have eaten lots more - it took a huge amount of restraint to save some for Robin who was working late at the wood yard. Next time she reckons to do a one and a half mix.
