Bluebells coming up.

Not often I start a new thread, but this morning I saw bluebell shoots and it perked me up no end.

We saw some in Northwoods in december... seems mad, doesn't it?! We've got snowdrops here in the midlands too, just the odd ones yet, but lots of bulbs are having an early flutter Whereabouts are you, Ged?

Well the bluebells are about a mile from M1 junction 28, and that's where I was at the time.

just out today in Midlands, Ireland. Loads of primroses in flower, ramson leaves up, lots of Lords and ladies up and several clumps of snowdrops in flower.

still got brambles with fruit in the proccess of ripening in the back lane, hopefully for the sake of the wildlife we don't get a prolonged cold spell if the the birds start brooding.

Yesterday saw a celandine, and a white dead-nettle

We have Daffodils in the garden.....

no signs of bluebells here yet, but saw loads of snowdrops on NY's day.

depressing isn't it! I got me sledge sitting there looking all lonely and sad, not even had to dress up really warm at all

and opposite the house a hill just made for sledging uppy_dog

When I go to the Asda near me it has a tree with blossom on it, though no leafs as yet.

I was in Randan Woods Saturday in Bromsgrove and there are loads of bluebell shoots already starting to poke through.

Wont be too long till it looks like this again....
