just back from out trip to south wales. had a brill time and great meeting up with the members from the blackberry bushcraft group, learned some new skills and meet some good friends.

Thanks for the tip about wood.

I would make a comment about the site, far to many people have not cleaned away their fire scars.. pretty basic stuff, clean away and scatter etc, dig over and cover.
The wood the guy sold us was soaked to the core, the logs were like wet blotting paper.
Some people need to remember latrine basics i.e. a shovel!

Now this can't all be put down to bushcrafters as its an open site, but we cleaned away more in our area than we used. Common curtesy will save it, lack of common sense will get it closed down.

But despite that Jolly good fun had by all!
