I quite fancy one of these (about 70% down the page), but I don't want to pay almost the same again in postage. Can anyone send me in the right direction?

Bag needs to be tough, simple, and easily stored - I'm after a bag to put fuel in en-route to a site.

Of course, any suggestions would be most welcome; I'm not afraid of the think-tank ;)

The only thing I can make is a mess ;)

I think leather and/or canvas would be fine.

PS: Extra thanks for replying; I may have missed your website otherwise - good stuff

I'm not all that good at leather work but made this in a few hours

This forum is amazing for many reasons.....one of them is that it makes you realise you can make your own gear with a little thought and effort.
Give it a go :)

Thanks for the compliment.

It's just a cloth bag I think :) .
You could use a cotton bag for life type shopping bag. Most supermarkets do them in neutral colours for a quid or so.

*Edit* My mistake I see its parachute nylon but still...

Well, the other half wants one of Ian's (PM inbound btw), and Orric has given me food for thought.

I'd like something like Orric made, but maybe twice the size.
