Terrible pictures, but it wouldn't stay still, and kept dropping to the ground. Any suggestions? It beats me.

I'm quite embarassed that I can't identify this one, but birds are not my strong point.
 
female linnet / female siskin / twite / can you add no more identifiacion markings?

Afraid not. Linnet was my guess, but those pictured were the only shots that were in focus.

I'm confident it isn't a willow warbler, and although there are Meadow pipit about in the site, I didn't think it was one of those (and it behaved differently).

Not a bird I can claim to have seen before, but then birds don't have enough legs for my expertise.
