was in some Woodland stood on a stone in the little stream.

dipper, nice photo indeed.

gets it's name from the dipping motion. often seen swimming in the water, like in the back of the photo.

even better on video then. they are not so common as they used to be. A sign of a clean river.

saw it just off the Ouston and Urpeth ramble in some woods, Saw the Red Kites there too.

It's just near Beamish about 30 mins walk from my house. I see deer there too. Lovely walk and woods.

I was just sat under a tree and saw some leaves moving. Whatever it was never broke the surface though. The earth was lifting up and going to break about
50cm from me. Thought it might of been a mole. It must of sensed me and stopped.

Not somewhere I know well, used to cycle through there a few times in my youth. sound lovely.
