Yeah, it's worth it, especially if you go for a wander, I don't think that people always appreciate the surrounding area when they're at the Moot, it's big and beautiful with woodlands, river, sea, dunes etc

My girlfriend lives near Barry, so we went for a trip to Merthyr Mawr a few weeks ago to have a look-see. At one point, there was a Hobby, Peregrine, Kestrel, and Buzzard all in view at once. So my suggestion is yes, it's definitely worth taking bino's!

Its well worth taking a pair of binoculars, the area is full of all sorts of goodies to see. Worth a walk to the coast too.
