.....I just like my guns to be 'right' and the slings add to the 'rightness', I collect guns but don't shoot (Seems strange eh??!!) as there's nowhere to shoot since the council demolished the nearest range to me (Herringthorpe leisure centre)..

Not so strange really. Loads of people collect. I do both (shooting and collecting to some extent) I have a coupl of guns that are family heirlooms (my dad's 12 guage Reminton Model 11-48 and his dad's old 20 guage Winchester Model 12) which will probably never be fired again; the barrel on the 20 guage is too thin to be safe TBH.
