Since we have a thread on worst purchases, I thought I'd start something in the opposite vein and keep it relevant to bushcraft.

My best purchases:
Skookum Carver
GB mini hatchet
Silky saw
Ventile Coat (and the perfect coat for city walking) :)
Kelty Triptease Lightline
Snowpeak Ti pot and cup
Smartwool socks
Tilley hat
Down sleeping bag (Sierra Designs)
Princeton Tec headlamp
Swarovski binos
REI windproof/waterproof matches
Recta compass

i very rarely spend money on bushcraft but the things i've been most happy with, and got the most use from, are:
kellam wolverine knife - i spent ages making a decision to get this, at £80(ish) it's by far the most expensive bit of kit that i've ever bought for bushcraft but i've never regretted it for one second, it's a superb tool that's always done everything i've asked of it with ease.
stainless steel cannisters from wilko's - three of these make up my hobo stove/billy set, less than a fiver in total, not entirely sure how i ever managed before i got them.
karrimor rucksack - fiver from a car boot sale, had to mend it a bit but it's the comfiest rucksack i've ever carried and a great size for most jobs

Best kit, I'm really happy with 99% of my gear but the highlights...

Tents: Terra Nova Solar 2 (12 years, going strong) Hilleberg Akto (bought at cost from Hilleberg)
Lowe Alpine Alpamayo pack -huge, heavy and sooo comfortable
Conformable custom moulded insoles -transformed the last 3 pairs of boots I've owned. Superb.
Opinel penknives
MSR Dragonfly stove -from candle to 'hot air balloon' burner in a twist!
Sprayway windshirt

Enough already!

your house!
Angle grinder
21"saw blade
power drill with sanding disc and drum attatchments
sewing machine
good all round knife
Good axe
small metal draper vice
Rouge RB9 boots
decent leather Belt
most have enabled me to make lots of things that I would have had to save up for, not that I wouldn't, I just don't earn anything and am a little impatient.
