Toddy I always thought Guelder rose was mildly toxic not enough to kill you but enough to give you the runs

I'm inclined to think on it like elderberries.
Edible, but oh dear it does not suit everyone.

I'm lucky, I can eat both and enjoy them too
Best advice for both is to cook them first.
