Interesting thread, and it's great to see some old faces coming out of the woodwork and posting, Silverback and Joker, good to see you after 14 months, are you back on bcuk for a bit or just taking the opportunity to get involved in this one thread?
I'll be closing the thread as it's obviously going down hill. I like the bushcrafter i handled a few years ago and i've got nothing against Bernie's knives at all. It's interesting though that no one can say anything about one of his knives without everyone taking it as a personal insult, some of the things said about knives in general that other makers have made don't get this heated response, often they even get a straight answer to their questions which could have been given this time and none of this would have happened, saying that the OP could have been worded slightly differently but I doubt that Mac was expecting the fallout that inevitably comes with certain subject or people.
So, thread closed, those that have just come for the scrap can join in on other discussions if they so wish, the question has probably been answered and all's well
