Bell Tents

I don't know but they seem lighter then other canvas tipi's/ bell tents? I could be wrong.

If they are made from 320 gsm canvas they should be OK. I seem to remember that Soul Pad used to use 285 gsm canvas and they sold really well. I ended up buying one from Canvas & Cast aka Bell Tent Biz but I think the guy has sold the company now, so don't know what the quality is like now.

When I was doing my research before purchase I was quite tempted buy these guys, but it was a package deal from canvas & cast that won me over.

That's a good weight, better gsm than my own bell tent and that's lovely.

I do like the look of their patrol tents too.

I spent half my life, literally, during the 60's, 70's and 80's in a Stormhaven from these guys, took good care of it and it never let me down, walls/sodcloth rolled up and doors open in Summer made it a super-tarp, all shut up in Winter and I never got wet or cold; absolutely brilliant bit of kit, but the rats got to it in the barn one year when I was abroad :-(
