I would rather not say just yet but I will. suffice to say it is productive x

I wish I had the knowledge and skills of Ray and the energy/physicality of Bear. It's easy to find fault but they've both done so much good for getting people outdoors and into nature that in my opinion that outweighs any negative stuff, which personally I find hard to voice as they both thrash me in so many areas of competence and ability that I feel a bit humble when I think about it.

Ha ha, I realise that I'm caught up in the comparison because of some of the other comments. My comments about Bear are hopefully what you're after.
I know people that know him and he's classed as a really nice guy, he's got getup and go, he's capable, even if he does push the boundaries sometimes. I'd rather be stranded with him than someone that gives up and things are too hard, I think, generally, you'd survive better.

So refreshing that we can still find new points to argue over on an idea that has been thrashed to death! There might well be no winners in this debate but just look at the field of corpses of sentiments put forward !

I PMed Dale at 13:53 today asking him to let Tony or us staff know what he was working on.

I think it would be better to lock this until he has had a chance to reply. I don't want to have to keep checking in to make sure that folk haven't started throwing burning loo roll through the bars!
