My wife does beadwork, and awhile ago a forum member contacted me to see if she would make him a beaded pouch for a slip joint knife.
She agreed, and after getting the required measurements , proceeded with the pouch and has now finished it.
He requested his initials and also wished for it to be lined with soft leather, but left the design and colour scheme entirely in her hands.
This is the finished pouch, made of traditionally smoke tanned moose hide as done by the Dene people. The inside of the pouch is lined with commercially tanned deer hide, as that's what was available.

She left the top of the pouch unbeaded so that when inserting or withdrawing the knife it doesn't get scratched by the beads
We just hope the owner will be happy with it when it arrives.
