Okay, the deadline has passed (unfortunately I had a severe case of DCW on my main pc and wasn't able to get it sorted until this evening  ). Anyway all the entries are in so it's now your chance to vote on the entries in the January heat of this year's photo competition

January's theme was 'Photographers' and as usual it's elicited a nice wide range of subjects. As in previous heats the winner will go through to the grand final in December as well as their picture will be used on the BCUK Facebook page.

Here's the entries in the first heat of this years competition

I would like to have voted for someone elses photo - but I have to vote for my own as it may be - if you look at all the others - the only vote I get!

It's good that one may cast a vote based on preferred criteria rather than being confined to technical excellence compliance ratings as is so often how this type of comp' is decided.

That's why I've voted for the 'possibilities' afforded the viewer by picture #3.

For once I'll break with Mr Fenna's thinking, I'll vote with my heart. Was very close but the fact that it was of one of my favourite hills clinched it for me in the end.
(And I'm sans votes ;) )
