I swear, if it was a one horse race the BBC couldn't forecast the winner. Utter garbage. I've been looking out the window for over an hour at my washing and it's been raining cats and dogs...Still BBC saying it's light cloud.

Rant over..

Type in the name of your location 'Wishaw' followed by the word 'weather' into your google search box...

Google seem to do a better job of predicting the weather than most.

:)

Editied to add:

I dream of temperatures like those, we are all suffering under 37 C over here.

I always use metweather but they don't seem to be any better. Didn't forecast that thunderstorm in the night last week, and over the weekend were saying the beginning of this week would be horrible, but it's pretty sunny up here for me today [tiny bit of rain overnight]. From day to day they seem to change their mind and modifiy the forecast from sunny to cloudy to heavy rain and even then they still get it wrong :) I've given up with that and just look out the window - I work in an office anyway so it doesn't really matter what the weathers doing, until I get home... and then if it's raining I'm happy to just get wet.

I remember the last time I saw a TV weather report it said something like, "bright and sunny with cloudy patches, mostly dry with some shower spells".... right so that's got you covered for pretty much everything but snow!

I'll give them my phone number. They can call me and i'll tell them what the weather is like locally. They are still saying online it's cloudy, now the sun in splitting the trees....

Same last year. I hung off for good weather near Morar. BBC said rain rain and more rain and below 13 degrees. Get's to Mallaig and they had been scorched for two weeks with sunshine into the mid twenties.. I caught the last two days of it. i would have been as well phoning the co-op or Spar in Mallaig for the weather forecast... Grrrrrrrrr

S4c used to have a brilliant weather map. It factored in hieght above sea level. Then they got rid of it in favour of place names and icons. It was probably budget cuts. They had an english button. My crawling speed wenglish cant cope with the spoken forecast.
