A friend a mine's father has recently passed away and sadly her mother / his widow "wants rid of" his collection of bayonets.
As they know I am interested in this stuff it looks like they are going to ask me to sell them for them (as I said that I might like to buy one or two myself.)
Has anybody got any recommendations on where to value and sell them?
(I will get some photos later on today which will hopefully give me a better idea of what they have.)

After getting a chance to see these "in the metal" and with help from here I have completed identifying them all..... :)

1. French 1868 Mre Impale de St Etienne chassepot. (70208) Alex Coppel markings
2. French 1874 Gras St Etienne Maker’s mark S.L. No.4981
3. Portugese m1885 Guedes / Kropatschek made in Austria by Steyr No. U839 (1886 engraved)

5.U.S.Army p17 bayonet for P14 Enfield. Winchester W, eagle, cross and flaming bomb ordnance markings, Leather scabbard.
6.British army 1907 Enfield bayonet. Stamped ’33.
271 on scabbard.
7. Japanese Type 30 bayonet Kokura example Variation C No. 45619
Tube-tipped bayonet
8. German Sg84/98. Marked ’43 fnj (Alexander Coppel) Serial No. 8161 / ’41 CVL 8382 on scabbard
9. Swiss 1918 Waffenfabrik Neuhausen Serial No. 885746

Ha! Those Enfield spikes are pretty plentiful over here, too... My dad used on as a probe/digging tool for years when metal detecting (I finally bought him a proper trowel for such business, lol).

That second one is lovely...
