Bargain billy

Well, well, well, out shopping with the mrs and popped into the 99p store and found this metal tea caddy to use as a billy.

just the right size to fit my dog food woodgas stove, deo meth stove with windshield, 2 tea candles (can manage 4) box of matches and a shed load off hex stove tabs

wow just l@@K at all that stuff plus once I have pop riveted a folding handle on the lid it will make a nice mug

What do you think? Bargain?

Excellent buy!
I bought a (new, clean) tin that's supposed to be used for paint in a DIY store the other day: 2.5 ltr and with bail handle. Unfortunately no lid, but I'm not complaining as it only cost me 3 EUR (=aprx 3 GBP).

used 2 beer cans, cut tops and bottoms off them, cut down middle and bend/fold to join the two together. used office hole punch to make vents in it and hey presto light wind shield ;-)
