I’ve often wondered what the blunt saw thingy on the back of the blade was for. Personally, have used it as a thumb grip when doing close work but I can’t help thinking it’s there for another purpose.

Any of you experts out there who can enlighten us?

Mora knives are very good for the price and the saw bit is for descaling fish. I dont know what K J stands for though.

KJ Eriksson is a maker of knives. the company was started by Krång Johan Eriksson in 1912, before that he worked at Frosts.
the company ( K J Eriksson) owns something like 36% of Frosts now.
