I got both T25 and T27 and they are both great choices for two people, but if you are to fry a lot, I would go for the T25 because of the larger diameter.
I used a meths burner throughout my time in the army and it will do the job with a very short learning curve. Gas is perhaps good from a weight perspective, but I would still go for meths (if the selection is limited to these choices)
