Hello all

This is my first post after lurking for a while, you have an excellent site.
I was hoping that someone could tell me the origin of this axe?
I can't find a haft even close to the original.
It says Sandvik on it but I can't find it in their catalogue.
I'll try to post the pic
Thanks for your awesome site

Edit:
I don't seem to be able to insert photos, maybe someone could help me.
I have a nice pic of my modified Mora Erikson and new sheath I would like to share too.
Thanks all and cheers!

Does your axe have 'SANDVIK' 600 stamped on the side?
If it does it is the same as mine.600 is the weight in grammes
It was made and marketed by sandvik(now usually under the BAHCO banner) in the 1970/80s.
They are exellent axes for bushcraft and very well made with a superb profile.

No mine says 1.0 - 21\4 but I know it is pretty old
could be that era though

Can anyone suggest a sheath design for this axe?
Is there some sort of tutorial i could use as a guide?
I can post a better pic if that would help.
Thanks all , great site!
