Axe masks.

my axe mask on my Granfors bruks wildlife hatched that i use as my main carving axe finally fell apart so i set about making a new one,and a couple for sale,made from 4mm veg tanned leather i think they will be more robust than the original the axe came with which was 2mm veg tanned leather.

Very nice indeed. It always bothers me that companies like Gransfors sell rubbish masks with a premium product - in the same way that those absolute rubbish Bark River sheaths are sold with a pricey knife.

Those should sell in a heartbeat to someone who wants a proper setup

I think the Gransfors ones would benefit from some rivets like the ones above and some thicker leather at least, very nice work there.

thanks guys,i must admit i was surprised by the flimsyness of the gransfors mask,mind you its lasted about 4 years with a lot of use.

I'm getting old, I had to go and check, but yes mine are riveted.
