@Crowe - I just use a 1" Scotch Eyed Auger, you can get them on Evilbay for a few quid

I used to buy those nets of chestnuts from Tescos untill I found that about 60% of them were infested with maggots, just as well all my previous roasting of them was done in the twilight !!!!

Think out of the ones we collected yesterday, we had possibly two with extra protein in them

Shame about the other visitors though, baffles me why folks cut trees down for no reason.

Funny thing is, no doubt they're local so i'll bet money your lads will know em.
