I cannot seem to post attachmnets and the postin permissions are:

You may post new threads
You may post replies
You may not post attachments
You may edit your posts

• BB code is On
• Smilies are On
• [/COLOR][/URL] code is On
  [*]HTML code is Off
  [/LIST]
  do I need to set something. Any help would be appreciated. Thnaks

By posting an attachment do you mean sending a file attached to a PM, the same way you would with an email?

If so I don't think you can do that, you're only able to post links within the forum. If you want to send someone an actual attached file then you have to use your personal email system.

What I'm looking to do is get pictures to appear within my messages for swaps etc

You need to use something like Photobucket.com to host your pictures and then put the link into your message here.
