Atherton air rifle range

I found atherton air rifle range the other day its a good indoor range .

open wed thu sat sun

£5 to shoot. No membership fee.
50p for an air fill.
Tea coffee etc there to.

Basically the range is across one floor of one very very large mill in Atherton near Wigan and has 2x 10m pistol type ranges and 1x rifle range with targets out to 55-60 yards with prone, standing or seated shooting. There must be enough room for 40 people at a guess.

Just thought i would post this photo. Went to the range today. Cost me £5 for 3 hours of shooting. £1 for a load of airfills and a tin of pellets.. Nice people there too.

Can't beat a good range - our Lincs one covers everything from air rifle to clay pigeon, practical shotgun, rimfire and centrefire rifle up to .50 cal. A day at the range is hard to beat
