Very nice. Wish I were that talented. :D I just bought a couple of knife blanks off of ebay. I don't have the know-how or the tools to make one from scratch. Not yet anyway. I have a Cedar tree in my back yard and was thinking of using some seasoned wood off of it for the handle. What do you think? Any suggestions?

Well worth all that effort. You will notice a smug grin when you use it. :You_Rock_

just a minor point, but I would reduce the squareness of its butt as it may be more comfortable to use if it were rounder.

The making of blade is something that touches us in the deepest part of what makes us human.

Birth of a Blade

Before a weapon is
the soul of a warrior,
it is first
the heart of the craftsman.
Forged with the heat
of passion,
Cooled with
blood tainted sweat,
Shaped with a
vision of perfection,
as the master wields the hammer.
