Asymmetrical pear spoon

This is the first spoon I've completed this winter, and from some radially cut pear that's been seasoned from last winter. It's the first time I've tried carving seasoned wood, definitely tougher, atleast on the knives, the axe seemed to lap it up though! My first asymmetrical design too. Hope you like! I've got a couple of spalted cherry spoons in the making too. They were from green wood though so I'm giving them plenty of time to dry before they se the finishing knife.

That's a nice looking spoon, beautiful grain. Post some pic's of the spalted cherry once they are done.
Thanks Dean :) they are finished, I'll get some pics up shortly. Got a nice clean radially cut cheery in the making at the mo too.
