Started these two pieces last year and put them aside for the winter but forgot about them.

Dug them out this weekend and cracked on with some serious carving.

Burl Bowl

I cannot remember the type of wood at present as I found it a couple of years ago.

I sealed it with Beeswax as it was leaking like a sieve. It did not leak at all (the leaves are floating on the water).

I will possibly just oil it to finish unless anyone can tell me of anything else to do with the Burl.
