I just popped along to asda for a couple of things and spotted this new Picnic box bbq . 28cm x28cm cooking area .
the legs fold up to save space , £10 doesn't seem to bad if it will work as a firebox .
Typical i didn't take my wallet with me as i was just buying bread and milk .

Think i will pop in after work tomorrow and pick one up .

The grill doesn't look up to carrying much weight but i was thinking about using a bit of 25mm weldmesh instead.

Looks not bad, hope someone puts up a review if one of you guys buy it.

I have seen esbit make a bbq, looks just like a big hexi stove with a grill on top but no idea how much it costs and im not sure if its smaller than this or not but they sell it along with a carry bag that looks like a shoulder bag. Same idea as this really but i imagine its more expensive.

Ive got a section of grid like wire i use as a grill..

i fold it over on itself and cut it, i then bend the wire ends over it to hold the two sides flush.

It fits into my bag and is used as a back support for the bag.. Works a treat!

about 30cm by 20cm

can use wet logs or stones to support it. Not a bad find from a skip!
