As the title suggests. I'm suspicious when buying things over the tinterweb.
Where can I buy them reliably and cheaply?

Ideally not motheaten or full of weird stains.

I can only see striped ones on the webpage. I really was looking for something plain to make a jacket out of. Might it be worth ringing him and asking if he's got any that are not on his website?

Endicotts all the way. Call the shop and ask to speak to Kev the owner. Give him colour, size and grade and you will get exactly what you want. Cannot recommend them enough!

I ordered a couple from there and you can choose your grade right through to hand-picked best-of-the-best where he or his team will hand pick a blanket for you as if you were doing it in the shop.

It worked for me

I've since visited the shop and bought a couple of slightly less 'perfect' ones for myself and my girlfriend when we are sat around the campfire on a cold eve.
