this may and probebly has been posted before but how about a function that allows you to search for members in your area

There used to be a members map here where users could post their position in the UK. I believe that a world map is one of the things on the list to do.

I did try and start something along those lines on Platial with locations and resources that people wanted to share.

Thought I would mention it again as a stop gap till the official one gets up and running.
