ANZA Medium Hunter

Just received an ANZA Medium Hunter, first feeling is really good.

ANZA knives are made from files with high percentage of carbon, I like the videos where C. Davis show how Anza's knives are

The ANZA MH is a compact and fairly light knife




no pins, the wood handle are just fixed by glue, but I didn't think this is a great problem on a knife small as it is.

The blade's geometry is hollow ground, whit an evident microbevel, sharp razor



Here you may see clearly the file's origin of this blade, for me is a nice feature of this knife



The sheath is simple and well done, good retention on the blade, leave enough part of the handle available for an easy estraction, you may use belts high until 4 cm




Handled, the ANZA MH is confortable, well balanced, the finger-groove is well rounded, no hot-spots as far as I can see




Conclusions: a very good small knife, mainly for hunting purposes (skinning ecc.), but also for general outdoor purposes. It's maybe too thick to cut efficiently salame or fruits or tomatoes, for the rest is ok with me.

Hi. I have large hands, anyway the handle is small. Despite that, I found it confortable.

I like it! love the high grind and the file teeth being left on the flats, simple beauty yet looks like a real working knife! great find matey.
