anyone who knows about Lowe Alpine Pathfinder 120 Liter? I would like to know more about that backpack - when was it made. who used it etc.?

I have one sitting in a cupboard unused these days. 120 litres of gear adds up to quite a weight and my back and are getting no younger ! It wasn't cheap but it's a hell of a pack. If I need more than a 45litre packs-worth of kit these days I take the Land Rover !

Yes, the military one is the saracen, but there was a version sold on the continent that was civilian....is it the same rucksack ?

Maybe ? if so, then it might be worth looking through Dutch (Netherland) sites.....one of our Mods/ Admin, Ahjno, who hasn't been on the forum in a while though ( young family, career, he's busy, etc.,) might know more ?

I have not had my hands on the Pathfinder. My understanding is that it’s a little smaller than the Saracen by 10-15L but is otherwise very similar in layout.
It might have been issued to Irish Defence Forces, I think I’ve seen it in DPM/paddyflage as well as olive.
